IMPORTANT NOTICE: SHRF COLLABORATIVE INNOVATION DEVELOPMENT GRANT DECISIONS

Good morning,
We are writing to inform you that due to the exceptional number of applications SHRF received for the Collaborative Innovation Development Grants, we will be delaying funding decisions scheduled for December 15, 2014 to February 6, 2015. The delay ensures we achieve the same expert and rigorous peer review process for this pilot program as our health research community expects for all of SHRF’s established funding programs. The delay also means that the funding start dates will be changed to February 1 or March 1, 2015. The date changes also take the usual scheduled breaks over Christmas into account.
As you are aware, the Collaborative Innovative Development Grant is a pilot program for SHRF and so we are learning as you respond. We are excited and encouraged by your feedback, interest and engagement and we will continue to adapt and evolve accordingly. An evaluation of this pilot program will take place in the spring.
