SaskCulture Inc. is a community-based, volunteer driven organization, which works with its membership and other community partners to build a culturally vibrant province where all citizens can celebrate, value and participate in a rich cultural life. It strives to create an atmosphere where the people of Saskatchewan value and support culture. It promotes “culture” as one of the four pillars of community sustainability by heightening the awareness and commitment of municipal leaders through community engagement and the cultural planning process.

 

With 136 members’ organizations, SaskCulture brings to SPAR a broad base of arts and cultural connections in the province as well as a wealth of data and information derived from cultural planning and mapping activities across Saskatchewan along with previous studies and surveys relating to the nature and role of culture province.

SaskCulture’s mission is to represent the cultural community as a whole and assist the cultural community in its endeavours to develop and promote the cultural life of the province.
