Podcast Picks From Brad Doerksen

Podcast Picks Part 2! Many of our librarians and staff listen to numerous podcasts on an amazing variety of topics, and today we have a listening recommendation from librarian Brad Doerksen:

“References to “witch hunts” are not uncommon when people defend themselves against accusations, and there is probably no more famous (or infamous) a witch hunt as the Salem witch trials of 1692-93. But what really happened in Salem and why? This fall the BBC’s History Extra has released a great series of short podcasts examining various aspects of the Salem witch trials and the dynamics at play on the New England frontier in the late seventeenth century. You can find them at the History Extra website or on your pod-catcher of choice.”
