Dear members of the University community,

It is a pleasure to inform you that Dr Jennifer Tupper, currently Acting Dean of the Faculty of Education, has accepted President Timmons’ offer of appointment as Dean of Education. The appointment is effective 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2018.

A graduate of the Universities of Alberta and British Columbia, Dr Tupper joined the faculty of the University of Regina in 2004. Her research in citizenship education and treaty education has been funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, and she has won the Outstanding Publication Award of the Canadian Association of Curriculum Studies.
