SSHRC Insight Development Grant
Deadlines: January 18, 2014 – internal deadline. February 1, 2014 – SSHRC deadline
Insight Development Grants provide support of up to $75,000 over one to two years to build knowledge and understanding about people, societies and the world by supporting research in its initial stages, in all subject areas eligible for funding from SSHRC.
The Insight Development Grants description and application forms are now available on the SSHRC website at: http://www.sshrc-crsh.gc.ca/funding-financement/programs-programmes/insight_development_grants-subventions_de_developpement_savoir-eng.aspx And SSHRC will be hosting webinars on the IDG on Dec 5 and 6. Time and details will be forwarded at a later date.
*** Data entry support for the Canadian Common CV ***
The Insight Development Grant requires a Canadian Common CV (CCV). For researchers whose CV is not currently in the Canadian Common CV format, the Office for Research, Innovation and Partnership will do the initial data entry. Please forward current CV to michelle.beitel@uregina.ca ASAP and no later than Nov. 30, 2013. Applicants intending to complete the CCV themselves are advised to expect a significant time investment and to start as soon as possible.
This offer is also extended to all researchers wishing to move their CV to the Canadian Common CV format as it will be required by SSHRC and other funding agencies in the future.
