VIDEO: Learn about Open Government

“By open access, we mean its immediate, free availability on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full text of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software or use them for any other lawful purpose…”
– The Budapest Open Access Initiative

Recently the Library hosted (and posted) a session to celebrate Open Access Week entitled Open Government, Open Data, Open Dialogue, Open Information.  It featured:

  • Donald Johnson, University of Regina Digital Collections Administrator, presenting an update about oURspace at the University of Regina.
  • Alyssa Daku, Manager of Corporate Information Governance at the City of Regina sharing information about open government and the launch of the City’s program.
