VIDEO: Dialogue with President Timmons
Faculty and staff joined President and Vice-Chancellor Vianne Timmons to engage in an open dialogue about the University on January 15, 2013. Professor Marc Spooner of the Faculty of Education moderated the discussion.

It has come to my attention that some portions of the video have been edited. Can the person/s responsible comment?
Respectfully,
Marc
The video was uploaded by our office (External Relations). The raw video was captured by A/V Services. The only edits that were to be made were to the beginning so that the logo and event title would show. Which portions are you finding have errors/edits/omissions, etc. ?
FYI: the cut is easily seen at the 1:01:41 mark.
Many are very disappointed to see the video has been altered.
Please explain
Marc
I’m going to connect with A/V Services to see if I can find out. I’ll hopefully have an answer for you soon.
Here is what I have learned:
A/V Services recorded the presentation using digital video tape and a single camera. These tapes allow approximately 62 minutes of recording. During the tape switch, several seconds of time are lost. When they add the two tapes together, there is a noticeable gap/edit.
Thank you for the explanation!
