Relax, it’s the Canadian Institute of Actuaries – not secret agents. Simon Curtis the president of the CIA will visit the University of Regina on Tuesday, September 25. As of this semester, for the first time, students at ten Canadian Universities are eligible to earn exemptions from Actuarial exams based on marks in approved courses. The U of R is one of the ten universities that have been approved for accreditation, which is big news given our program produced its first graduates only eight years ago.
For more information visit the Prairie Actuary, the University’s Actuarial Science blog.
