A new campaign has been launched, led by Maureen Mancuso, 3M Fellow and Provost at the University of Guelph, to thank teachers who have inspired university faculty in their careers. There will be a campaign in The Globe and Mail and University Affairs with 11 advertisements, each one by a national teaching fellow who is thanking a teacher or teachers who inspired them to change. As part of this campaign, the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) is hosting a a site for tributes from the public to be shared at www.thankyourteacher.ca. So go check out the thanks already posted and share your own message to a teacher who inspired you!
