Thanks to everyone for a great symposium!

This biennial symposium is the 27th Canadian national gathering of theoretical and computational chemists, dating back to 1965. Two former triennial conference series, the Canadian Computational Chemistry Conference (CCCC) and Canadian Symposium on Theoretical Chemistry (CSTC), were merged after 2010 to become the biennial CSTCC.

Reginaad Regina (population 200000) is a very sunny city on the Canadian Prairies, and in July is quite pleasant with little humidity (temperatures of 20-30 degrees Celsius in the afternoons, and 8-16 degrees Celsius at night). Between the campus and the downtown hotels is the beautiful man-made Wascana Lake. The conference will feature no lectures Wednesday morning, to allow guests to tour the Farmer's Market downtown (Wednesday and Saturday mornings), or other excursions (perhaps the Royal Canadian Mounted Police museum, or the Moose Jaw spa or tunnels.)

Conference organizers:
Allan East (U. of Regina), John Tse and Richard Bowles (U. of Saskatchewan)

Virtual Tour
Reservations
Although 5 km from campus and the conference, we recommend this for its proximity to restaurants and pubs, and the Wednesday morning Farmer's Market that takes over Victoria Park just three blocks away. There will be a shuttle bus to take attendees between the hotel and the conference. As well, the Wednesday conference banquet will be held at this hotel. (If enough people book here, the Regina Hotels Association will give us $3K in sponsorship money!)

2. University of Regina residences, $57 per night plus tax.
